The question is, Is that possible, using 'Nikon Scan, Silverfast or Vuescan for Coolscan 5000' which is what the OP is most interested in? And if so, how is it done? I hesitate to bring it up because I don't really understand how to make this work to my benefit, but VueScan does have an option to Output Raw File.
